Illy mom told that being black women will always be hard because I would have to work 2 times harder because I am a women and 3 times harder because I am black. mother thing my mother told me is there will always be people that will bring you down and say because you are black you will always be a static. Time after time I came across the discrimination from other peers and adults. The way they treated me and put me down it made it harder to do my work and have a good life. These people made it harder for me to be recognized as a person this hurt, Duman Rights Article 6; Right to recognition as a person before the law. Now I felt like I was worthless, I felt like nobody cared about me and nobody really liked me for me. But I came to find me -asking myself did my life really have any meaning. But the two things my mother told always went through my mind. I had a teacher that didn't really like me, I don't know why but she didn't like me. Throughout the first half of school she would never answer nay question she would always say, ;Ask your partner" but when my partner would come up to her with the same question, she would answer the question, When we had to do a paper I would never get 10 0% on a paper there would have to be one mistake I made, this damaged niy Human Right (Article 1; Right to Equality). This kept on going; I gat so stress and it started to affect my grades. My parents started noticing the effects of what was happening at school and they didn't like what there were seeing. My parents had to tackle this issue and they had to tackle it fast; it started to affect my life outside of school. My mom talk to me about how people will tell you things to make you feel bad and you just have to prove them wrong. You got to kill there with kindness; ignore there discrimination just show them that you are just like them, HUMAN! The things my mom told stuck with until I went back to after Christmas break.
