Culture?
You should. You should be able to take pride in in all those things. Those things that
g g
make you who you are. You should be able to stand up tall and say o wh you are with
 y h
confidence, without fear of someone stripping you of that pride or questioning y our
equality. But you can't. Not right now , in this society. Because there are, unfortunately,
vast amounts of prejudice holding you down, burdening you. Stereotypes defy fy our human
rights and injure and damage our mental being and ride of who we are. All i
p ddlem
Eastern people are terrorists, people who are smart are nerds women can't la
p y sports,
these particular stereotypes just isn't right to society, and therefore , I would like to
elaborate in them, so you, the reader, can understand and see from the victim's
s
perspective.
It's true that Middle- Eastern people have done acts of harm against u
g s, and we
feel constantly threatened, I understand, but the entire race shouldn't
be blamed for a
certain group's doing. Middle. Eastern people can't even o out in public g p c i
without
someone being suspicious of them for terrorist acts. And if they want to travel
somewhere or has their presence at an airport, the security ake unnecessary ary safety
precautions that doesn't apply to other civilians. And Middle- Eastern e '
p ogle can't help
but feel insulted for their race. They can't het but feel that criticizing
p we are them for
their skin color. They can't help but feel disgrace upon their own blood and family. . No
one should ever experience that, as human beings, we have to look g out for each other. we
should never make someone feel that way and ' someone just b . judge y his/her skin color.
