In school, they are avoided and shunned. They were rejected in society before they could even get a chance to prove themselves friend-worthy or normal. They didn't have a say in any of these assumptions. Instead, they stay quiet and accept the fact that because they are clever and too sharp-witted, the school community has turned their backs on them for no good reason and that they are labeled as the "geeks of the school ".
