<br />EXTRACf OF MINUfES OF MEETING OF TIIE <br />VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD <br />January 31, 1972 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Ramsey County, <br />Minnesota, was duly held in the Village Hall at 2701 North <br />Lexington Avenue, Roseville, Minnesota, on the 3J.5 t day of <br />January 1972. <br /> <br />The following members \vere present: Mayor Linebarger, <br />Councilmen Anderson, Brennan and Curley <br /> <br />and the following were absent: Councilman Grauel <br /> <br />Member Curley <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5808 <br /> <br />~VHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 529, Section 3, authorizes <br />the destnlction of certain public records; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, limited storage and filing space in the Village Hall <br />demands that a record preservation and destruction <br />program be implemented; and <br /> <br />WI-IEREAS, the effecti vemess and efficiency of rrnmicipal govern- <br />ment can be enhanced by a sound record preservation and <br />destruction program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Attorney has approved the destruction of <br />Village records as indicated below; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Manager is <br />authorized to destroy the following records except <br />those pertinent to lawsuits already commended: <br /> <br />A. Liquor receipts, cancelled checks and invoices <br />1950 - 1964 <br />B. License applications and license copies, 1950 - 1964 <br />C. Building, plumbing, electrical, gas heating, etc. <br />permits - 1950 - 1964 <br />D. Payroll Time Sheets - 1950 - 1964 <br />E. Check duplicates - 1950 - 1964 <br />F. General Government receipts, cancelled checks, <br />and invoices 1950 - 1964 <br />
