<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF 'MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLF. <br />HELD ON JULY 2, 1962 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of <br />the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, ~\innesota, \>las duly called <br />and held at the Village Hall in said Villaf'e on July 2, 1962, at 8:00 P.~l. <br />TIle following members were present: <br /> <br />tvlayor McGee, Trustees Reinecke, Flanagan and Kustermann. <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: Trustee Goodrich <br /> <br />~1ember Reinecke introduced the following resolut ion and moved its <br /> <br />adoption. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 582 <br /> <br />^ RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE MAYOR TO GIVE \lIS APPROVAL TO TIlE <br />ISSUANCE OF PER~lITS FOR TI-IE ALLOWING OF CONSU~1PTION OR DISPLAY OF <br />INTOXICATING LIQUORS AND TIlE SERVING OF LIQUIDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF MIXING <br />WITH INTOXICATING LIQUORS ON CERTAIN CONDITIONS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Roseville has never enacted an ordinance <br />prohibiting the consumption and display of intoxicating liquors or the <br />servin~ of liquids for the purpose of mixing with intoxicating liquors, in <br />any public place or private club; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, for many years certain public places within the Village <br />limits of the Village of Roseville have allowed the consumption and display <br />of intoxicating liquors and have served liquids for the purpose of mixing <br />with intoxicating liquors; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Legislature in 1961, pursuant to Chapter 735, <br />Section 1, amended Minn. Stat. 1959 Chapter 340.14 (3) by the terms of which <br />it is now unlawful for any public place or private club to allow the consumption <br />or display of intoxicating liquors or the serving of liquids for the purpose <br />of mixing with intoxicating liquors without securing a permit therefor from the <br />Liquor Control Commission of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Act authorized villages throughout the State to impose <br />an additional fee for such permits, not to exceed Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00); <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Roseville enacted such an ordinance being part <br />of the Village Code of the Village of Rosevillc, Section 151.111 and imposed a <br />fee of Three Hundred Dollars ($311(1.(10) for SUell permit; :m,1 <br />
