D. It is necessary and desirable that said improve- ments be consolidated as a single improvement for administra- tive purposes and for purposes of financing the same provided that such consolidation shall not prevent the Council from advertising separately for various portions of the work involved in the consolidated improvement, from letting separate contracts therefor, and from conducting separate assessment hearings thereon; E. It is anticipated that contracts for all portions of said consolidated improvement shall be let in 1972; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, as follows: 1. It is advisable, expedient and necessary that said improvements be constructed, and the same are hereby ordered made. 2. Said improvements for the purpose of financing the same and for other administrative purposes are hereby consolidated and shall be conducted as a single improvement and are hereby designated and shall be collectively known as Consolidated Improvement of 1972. 3. All previous actions taken by the Village Council in connection with said Consolidated Improvements of 1972, including but not limited to adoption of a reso- lution on February 28, 1972 authorizing and providing for the public sale of $2,040,000 Improvement Bonds, Series 7 to finance said Consolidated Improvement, are hereby rati- fied, affirmed and approved. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Rrp.nn~n and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Curley Grauel Anderson Brennan , , , and Linebarger. and the following voted against the same: None. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. -2-
