<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD JULY 17, 1972. <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was <br />duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on July <br />17, 1972 at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: <br /> <br />Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Curley, Grauel, Anderson and Brennan <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Mem~Grauel introduced the following Resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5865 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY CONDEMNATION UNDER <br />THE POWERS OF EMINENT DOMAIN CERTAIN LAND IN FEE SIMPLE FOR THE STORAGE <br />AND PONDING OF SURFACE WATERS AND CERTAIN OTHER LAND BY WAY OF A <br />PERMANENT EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC ROAD AND UNDERGROUND UTILITIES. AND <br />DIRECTING THAT THE NECESSARY PROCEEDINGS BE INSTITUTED FOR SUCH <br />PURPOSE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Village Council for the Village of Roseville deems <br />it necessary and expedient and in the best interests of the Village <br />to acquire the following described land for the storage and ponding <br />of surface waters and a permanent easement for public road and under- <br />ground utilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council for the Village of Roseville has <br />been advised by competent advisers and committees that the following <br />described real property is desirable to acquire for ponding of surface <br />waters; and that it is feasible to construct and maintain a public <br />road and underground utility mains, pipes and appurtenances. <br />
