<br />EXTRACT OF MI1luTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br />HELD NOVEMBER 13, 1972 <br /> <br />************************************************************* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of Roseville, Minnesota was duly called and <br />held at the Village Hall in said Village on November 13, 1972, <br />at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, <br />Councilmen Curley, Grauel, Anderson and Brennan <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Curley <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />then introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />5897 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY EMINENT DOMAIN <br />PERMANENT AND TEMPORARY EASEMENTS ACROSS AND UNDERCERTAIN LANDS FOR <br />THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING, MAINTAINING UNDERGROUND UTILITY MAINS, <br />PIPES AND APPURTENANCES IN AND FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, <br />AND THAT SAID PROCEEDINGS BE COMMENCED AND COMPLETED FOR SAID PURPOSE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Village Council of the Village of Roseville has <br />been advised by competent engineers that it is feasible to construct <br />and maintain underground utility mains, pipes and appurtenances within <br />that portion of the Village, hereinafter described; and <br /> <br />1...") <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Village Council of the Village of Roseville <br />deems it necessary and expedient and in the best interest of the <br />Village and its inhabitants that the Village acquire permanent and <br />temporary easements across and under certain lands for the purpose; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the statutes of the State of Minnesota state that the <br />Village has the power and authority to take and acquire said property <br />by condemnation under the power of eminent domain; <br />
