EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE HEID APRIL 30 I 1973. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof I a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Ro seville, Minne sota I wa s duly called and held at the Village Hall in the said Village on April 30, 1973, at 7:130 p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Grauel, Anderson, Brennan and Curley and the following members were absent: None Member Curley resolution and moved its adoption. introduced the following RESOLUTION NO. 5973 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY CONDEMNATION UNDER THE POWER OF EMINENT DOMAIN CERTAIN LAND FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING AND MAINTAINING A PARK FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE I AND DIRECTING THAT THE NECESSARY PROCEEDINGS BE INSTITUTED FOR SUCH PURPOSE. WHEREAS I the Village Council for the Village of Roseville deems it necessary and expedient and in the best interests of the Village and its inhabitants that the following described lands be acquired for park purposes for said Village; and WHEREAS I the Village Council has been advised by competent advisers that the following described real property is desirable to acquire a s a park; and WHEREAS, the Village has been unable to negotiate for the purpose of purcha sing said land s; and WHEREAS, under the statutes of the State of Minnesota the Village has the power to take and acquire such property by power of eminent domain;
