has prepared plans and specifications for Improvements SS-W-P-73-13 and SS-W-P-73-l4 and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval, and WHEREAS the Village Public Works Director has advised the Council that said improvements should best be made as a combined improvement, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Village Council hereby finds, determines and declares that Improvements SS-W-P-73-13 and SS-W-P-73-l4 shall, in accordance with the advice of the Public Works Director, be instituted and conducted as a single combined improvement in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. 2. Said combined improvements are hereby designated Combined Street Improvements of 1973, Series 5. 3. The plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 4. The village Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Roseville Sun, the official paper, and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for alternate bids upon the making of such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for Combined Street Improvements of 1973, Series 5 shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call for bids upon the basis of a cash payment for such work, shall state that the bids will be received by the Village Manager until 11:00 o'clock a. m. on June 22, 1973, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Village Hall by the Village Manager and Village Public Works Director, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the Council at 7:30 o'clock p. m. on June 25, 1973 in the Council Chambers, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bond payable to the Manager for ten percent (l~~) of the amount of such bid.
