<br />EXTRACf OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CIIT <br />COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD <br />NOVEMBER 25, 1974 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly <br />called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 25th day of <br />November, 1974, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, <br />Councilmen Demos, Hess and Brennan <br /> <br />and the following was absent: Councilman Curley. <br /> <br />Member Brennan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6184 <br /> <br />A RESOllJTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY CONDEMNATION UNDER <br />THE POWERS OF EMINENT DOMAIN CERTAIN LAND IN FEE SIMPLE <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING AND ~~INTAINING A FIRE STATION <br />FOR THE CIIT OF ROSEVILLE, AND DlRECfING THAT THE NECESSARY <br />PROCEEDINGS BE INSTITUTED FOR SUCH PURPOSE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Roseville, deems <br />it necessary and expedient and in the best interest of the City and <br />its inhabitants that the following described lands be acquired for a <br />fire station for said City; and <br /> <br />wrlliREAS, the City Council for the City of Rosevil1e has been <br />advised by competent advisers and committees that the following <br />described real property is best suited for the purpose of a fire station; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has been ttrlable to negotiate <br />for the purpose of purchasing said land; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, under the statutes of the State of Minnesota, the <br />City has the power to take and acquire such property by power of eminent <br />domain; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CIIT <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />
