<br />- 2- <br /> <br />The City Council hereby deems it necessary and convenient <br />that the property described below be acquired by the City of Roseville <br />in fee simple for the purpose of acquiring and maintaining a fire <br />station, all of said property being situated in the City of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey, and State of Minnesota, to-wit: <br /> <br />'lhe North 160 feet of the East 325 feet of Lot 12, <br />Cope's Subdivision of Lot 1, of Cope's Subdivision <br />of the Southeast Quarter (S~) of Section 11, Township <br />29, Range 23, according to the plat thereof, Ramsey <br />County. <br /> <br />That the City Attorney be and he hereby is ins tructed to <br />commence the necessary proceedings in condemnation under the power of <br />eminent domain in the name and in behalf of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, to acquire the property set forth above under the statutes <br />of the State of Minnesota, and that said attorney is further instructed <br />and directed to take such steps as may be necessary to carry said <br />proceedings to a conclusion. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />dilly seconded by Councilman Hess and upon a vote being taken, the <br />following voted in favor of the resolution: All present <br />and the following voted against same: None. <br /> <br />1VHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA) <br />) SS <br />COUN1Y OF RAMSEY ) <br /> <br />I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Manager <br />of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, do hereby certify that I have <br />carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a <br />regular meeting of the City Council of Roseville, Minnesota, held on <br />the 25th day of November, 1974, with the original on file in my office, <br />and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom insofar <br />as the same relates to a resolution determining to acquire by condemnation <br />under the powers of eminent domain certain land in fee simple for the <br />purpose of acquiring and maintaining a fire station for the City of <br />Roseville, and directing that the necessary proceedings be instituted <br />for such purpose. <br /> <br />WITNESS ~N HAND as such Manager and the corporate seal of the <br />City of Roseville, Minnesota, this 27th day of November, 1974. <br /> <br />," <br /> <br />:'J~;'~ 'f~ '~'d;~';'~it~ Manager <br /> <br />SEAL <br />
