MR. SHAW: That's between me and the party west of me. That's where our sanitation sewer is but the watermain is right up along the east side of me. MR. HONCHELL: Western Avenue is 60 feet wide there. That's a good deal wider than (inaudible). The right of way is 66 feet wide so there's a considerable amount of land that is publicly owned. MR. SHAW: How about (inaudible) up above me2 MR. HONCHELL: Same width. It's just that the roadway as it is traveled now is not centered on the right of way. MR. SHAW: Part of it there is, where the watermain is in. MR. HONCHELL: Our records indicate that other than the street right of way we don't own that strip of land. We have an easement but no ownership other than the right of way on the street. MAyOR LINEBARGER: What kind of easement? MR. HONCHELL: Sanitary sewer. MR. SHAW: That's west of me on 397 between the houses. MR. HONCHELL: Our records don't indicate any city ownership in your lot. MR. GORDON HOCKEMEYER, 325 capitol View: It seems only the area in green and Mrs. Schmidt have a problem. I think (inaudible) channel Minnesota to Capitol View should be enlarged and she should install a sump pump or something in the basement. MRS. WALTER HOLMBERG, 299 Capitol View: lIve lived there for 20 year~ and we had no water problem until the time those two streets were built off of Minnesota and after that the water was diverted on to the 204 feet that I own on Minnesota. I no longer live at 299 Capitol View, but on Minnesota the road constantly after those streets were there, you know, that road washed out on Minnesota and the day you were out there there was a street blockade there because it washed out again so it's a constant problem there unless something is done about the street washing out so it1s still a problem for Roseville as far as maintenance is concerned and I'm for it. l3
