.,

MR. HONCHELL: The Class 5 is what they call lOO% quarry
limestone in Alternate B.

MR. REINHARDT: I believe Alternate A is a little bit
longer road than "B" and yet the price is less in "A" than liB".

COUNCILMAN DEMOS: Is that because of the grade?

MR. HONCHELL:
in "A".

It conforms more to the existing terrain

MR. REINHARDT: What is the normal length that you prefer
on a cul-de-sac as far as fire and dragging fire hoses, firemen
running a stretcher up-

MR. HONCHELL: Given my option it would be zero because
I'm not in favor of cul-de-sacs, but normally (inaudible).

MR. REINHARDT: Sherren Street cul-de-sac would be 225
feet from Milton and Sherren to Milton that cul-de-sac would
be 500 feet.

MR. HONCHELL: The analogy you're making is correct.

MR. REINHARDT: SO, in other words, Alternate B would be
better under those circumstances.

MR. HONCHELL: It's a better alternative on that point.

MR. REINHARDT: Under your proposal, you're stating that
the land cost of this development--the fill which is the south
end of this development A would be more costly to develop than
the northern part. The northern part is level and you could
put your base in and your road and that would be about the
extent of it approximately.

MR. HONCHELL: That is correct.

MR. REINHARDT: And to the south where you hit Victoria
(inaudible) that would require more expense--compacting--yet
you're stating in there there's existing storm sewer running
east to west from Victoria to Milton and if Plan A is adopted,
the property abutting the existing storm sewer would be assessed
at the old rate and the other property would be assessed at
the going rate today so you're asking the people that live north
of Sandhurst to pay the full rate of the new assessments plus
