<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HEW .mNE 23, 1975 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the city Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly <br />called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 23rd day of <br />June, 1975, at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br /> <br />Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Curley) <br />Demos and Brennan <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: Hess <br /> <br />Member Curley <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following Resolution <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6273 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY CONDEMNATION UNDER <br />THE POWERS OF EMINENT DOMAIN CERTAIN LAND IN FEE SIMPLE FOR THE <br />PURPOSE OF A PERMANENT EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC ROAD AND UNDERGROUND <br />UTILITIES, AND DIRECTING THAT THE NECESSARY PROCEEDINGS BE INSTI- <br />TUTED FOR SUCH PURPOSE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Roseville deems it <br />necessary and expedient and in the best interests of the City to <br />acquire the following described land for a permanent easement for <br />public road and underground utilities: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Roseville has been <br />advised by competent advisers and committees that the following <br />described real property is feasible to construct and maintain a <br />public road and underground utility mains, pipes and appurtenances. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has been unable to negotiate <br />for the purpose of purchasing said land: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, under the Statutes of the State of Minnesota, the <br />City has the power to take and acquire such property by power of <br />eminent domain~ <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />
