By resolution adopted March 31, 1975, the Council has directed the City Public Works Director to prepare a preliminary report as to the feasibility of a proposed improvement generally in the area abutting the west side of Snelling Avenue between county Road C and County Road C-2 by the construction of pave- ment, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, water appurtenances and other miscellaneous appurtenances, in conjunction with the State of Minnesota. The Public Works Director was also directed to include in the report the estimated cost of the proposed improvement and as to whether such improvement should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement. The preliminary report and cost estimate have been submitted and considered by the Council and are hereby approved and directed to be placed on file in the office of the City Manager. The improvement proposed to be made in the general manner set forth in the report is designated as Improvement P-75-3. 2. The city hereby requests the State of Minnesota Highway Department to cooperate with the city in the proposed improve- ment and to indicate its commitment to the city and the participation of the state in said improvement, so that the extent thereof will be available at the time of the hearing scheduled in this resolution.
