The bonds shall be prepared under the direction of the Village Clerk <br />and shall be executed on behalf of the Village by the signature of the Mayor, counter- <br />signed by the Village Clerk, and the corporate seal of the Village shall be affixed <br />thereto, and the appurtenant interest coupons shall be executed and authenticated by <br />the printed, engraved or lithographed facsimile signatures of the Mayor and Clerk. <br />When the bonds have been so executed and authenticated, they shall be delivered by <br />the Treasurer to the purchaser thereof, upon payment of the purchase price hereto- <br />fore agreed upon and the purchaser shall not be obliged to see to the application <br />thereofj but the proceeds thereof shall be applied solely to the payment of costs <br />incurred and to be incurred in the construction of Water Improvement No. 62-1 of the <br />Village. <br /> <br />5. Water Improvement No. 62-1, consisting of the construction of facili- <br />ties needed for supplying and distributing water within a substantial area of the <br />Village, has been duly ordered by resolution adopted August 27, 1962, after public <br />hearing in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and a contract has been <br />duly awarded for the construction of a substantial portion of such improvement. The <br />proceeds of the bonds herein authorized are appropriated to the Water Improvement <br />No. 62-1 Fund, for the payment of a like portion of the cost of that improvement, <br />in anticipation of the levy and collection of special assessments upon properties <br />benefited thereby} and of such taxes as the Council shall determine to levy for <br />that purpose in accordance with law.
