<br />UNITED STATES OF AMERICA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />No. <br /> <br />$90,000 <br /> <br />GENERAL OBLIGATION SANITARY SEWER <br />IMPROVEMENT BOND <br /> <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS That the Village of <br />Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota, acknowledges itself to be <br />indebted and for value received hereby promises to pay to bearer <br />on the 15th day of November, 1964, the sum of NINETY THOUSAND <br />DOLLARS and to pay interest thereon from the date hereof until <br />the principal amount is paid at the rate of two and forty <br />hundredths per cent (2.40%) per annum, interest to maturity pay- <br />able May 15, 1963, November 15, 1963, May 15, 1964 and Novem- <br />ber 15, 1964 in accordance with and upon surrender of the interest <br />coupons hereto attached as they severally become due. Both <br />principal of and interest on this bond are payable at The American <br />National Bank of Saint Paul, in St. Paul, Minnesota, in any coin <br />or currency of the United States of America which at the time of <br />payment is legal tender for public and private debts. <br /> <br />This bond is issued pursuant to and in full conformity <br />with the Constitution and Laws of the State of Minnesota, <br />including Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes, for the purpose of <br />providing temporary funds to defray the expenses incurred and to <br />be incurred in connection with Sanitary Sewer Improvement No.4, <br />and is payable from the Temporary Sanitary Sewer Improvement <br />Bonds of 1962 Fund out of the proceeds of definitive improvement <br />bonds which shall be issued and sold at or prior to the maturity <br />of this bond, to the extent that the same cannot be paid out <br />of the assessments and taxes theretofore collected or out of <br />any other municipal funds which are properly available and are <br />appropriated for such purpose, but the full faith and credit of <br />the village have been irrevocably pledged for the payment of the <br />principal and interest on this bond and the village will levy a <br />direct ad valorem tax upon all of the taxable property in the <br />village if necessary to provide for any deficiency. <br /> <br />At the option of the village, this bond is subject to <br />redemption and prior payment on May 15, 1964 at par and accrued <br />interest upon thirty days' prior mailed notice to The American <br />National Bank of Saint Paul, in St. Paul, Minnesota. <br /> <br />IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED AND RECITED That all acts, <br />conditions and things required by the Constitution and Laws of <br />the State of Minnesota to be done, to happen, and to be performed <br />precedent to and in the issuance of this bond have been done, <br />have happened and have been performed in regular and due time, <br />form and manner as required by law; and that this bond together <br />with all other indebtedness of the village outstanding on the <br />date hereof and the date of its actual issuance and delivery, <br />does not exceed any constitutional or statutory limitation thereon. <br /> <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Village of Roseville, Ramsey <br />County, Minnesota, by its Village Council, has caused this bond <br />to be executed by the Mayor and the Village Clerk and sealed with <br />
