RESOLUTION NO. ~&.~ A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY CONDEMNATION UNDER THE POWER OF EMINENT DOMAIN CERTAIN LANDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING AND MAINTAINING A PARK FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, AND DIRECTING THAT THE NECESSARY PROCEEDINGS BE INSTITUTED FOR SUCH PURPOSE. Roseville interests described and WHEREAS, the Village Council for the Village of deems it necessary and expedient and in the best of the Village and its inhabitants that the following lands be acquired for park purposes for said Village; WHEREAS, an election has been held within the Village to determine whether the Village should issue bonds for the purpose of financing a park system; and WHEREAS, the results of said election were to proceed with the sale of bonds for the purpose of acquiring parks; and WHEREAS, the Village Council has been advised by competent advisors and committees that the following described real property is desirable to acquire as a park; and
