<br />WHEREAS, the Village has been unable to negotiate <br />for the purpose of purchasing said land; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, under the statutes of the State of <br />Minnesota the Village has the power to take and acquire such <br />property by power of eminent domain; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE <br />COUNCIL FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The Village Council hereby deems it necessary and <br />convenient that the property described below be acquired by <br />the Village of Roseville for the Roseville Park, all of said <br />property being situated in the Village of Roseville, County <br />of Ramsey and State of Minnesota, to-wit: <br /> <br />As to Park Site lSA-A: <br />Lot Five (S), Block Two (2), Weinholzer's <br />Addition. <br /> <br />As to Park Site lS-C: <br />Except the West Three Hundred Fifty Feet <br />(W.3S0'), that part of the South One-half <br />of the North One-half of the South One-half <br />of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast <br />Quarter (S.1/2 of N.l/2 of S.1/2 of SW.l/4 <br />of NE.l/4) west of the extended centerline <br />of Dellwood Street in Section Ten (10), <br />Township Twenty-Nine (29), Range Twenty- <br />Three (23). <br /> <br />As to Park Site lS-H: <br />Subject to easements, that part of Lot Six <br />(6), Block Six (6), Porte Park lying west <br />of a line running from a point on the north <br />line of said lot Twenty feet west (20'W) of <br />the Northeast corner of said lot and a point <br />on the south line of said lot Forty-Nine feet <br />west (49'W.) of the Southeast corner of said <br />lot. <br /> <br />As to Park Site IS-I: <br />Subject to easements, Lots Seven (7) and <br />Eight (8) of Block Six (6), Porte Park. <br /> <br />Page Two <br />
