After redding of the notice, <br />all persons present were afforded opportulllty to be heard, and <br />the names and addresses of the persons appearing and heard by <br />the Council, and the substance of the views presented by them, <br /> <br />were as follows: <br /> <br />MR. ~MTTHIAS GRUNDTNER, 2933 Troseth Road: In favor of the <br />improvement. He's not included in the proposed improvement <br />but wanted to know how soon water would be available to him. <br /> <br />MR. HARRY CHRISTENSON, 2925 Troseth Road: Said he endorsed Mr. <br />Grundtner's views. <br /> <br />~~. DOUGLAS MOSES, 2939 Troseth: He's in favor of anything that will <br />make water available to him. <br /> <br />MR. WILLIAM BUSCH, Degree of Honor Building, St. Paul, Attorney at <br />Law, appeared for Mr. Robert Short of Admiral Transit: <br />Wanted to know if the tract owned by Mr. Short could be <br />eliminated from the improvement program. He believes it is <br />now adequately served by its own well and Mr, Busch asked <br />the Council to consider eliminated this piece of land from <br />the improvement. <br /> <br />MR. ROGER NELSON, 2965 W. Owasso Blvd.: He's opposed to any kind of <br />a surface water public system because of contamination of <br />water. <br /> <br />MR. JAMES MCSHERRY, 2865 N. Fairview: He said Mr. Robert Short had <br />told him not more than two weeks ago that he would sign a <br />petition if they did not get water. Mr. McSherry said he <br />was surprised to have a representative of Mr. Short ask <br />that his property be eliminated. <br /> <br />MR. WALLACE HERRON, 1464 Clarmar: Mr. Herron was a member of the <br />water study committee and he answered some questions asked <br />by Mr. Roger Nelson relating to water contamination. <br /> <br />MR. LOWELL SATRE, 2440 N. Hamline: Mr. Satre said he was presently <br />having problems with his well. After it's repaired he thinks <br />it will be satisfactory for another five years, but he would <br />still like to have the water corne in. <br /> <br />MR. LESTER BAKER, 2820 Merrill: Wanted to know what the status of <br />the Roseville water supply would be if St. Paul extends its <br />services to other communities and the surface water supply <br />runs low. <br /> <br />2 <br />
