<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD MARCH 16, 1964. <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minne sota, <br />was duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on the <br />16th day of March, 1964, at 7:130 :1'.m. The following members were <br />present: <br />Actinr PaY0r r:oodrich, Trustees Curley, [rauel and Shields <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: <br /> <br />',fayor Ccdarhnlm <br /> <br />Member Curley <br />following Resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9dl i <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 412 of the Minnesota Statutes designates <br />alternative methods for the formation of Village governments; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council is concerned about the <br />best method of government for the Village of Roseville and would like <br />to investigate the advantages and disadvantages of obtaining a charter <br />from the State of Minnesota, or of changing to one of the other forms of <br />government allowed under Chapter 412; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in 1960 the Village Council for the Village of <br />Roseville appointed a government study committee which culminated with <br />the Village of Roseville adopting Plan "A" form of government under <br />M.S.A. ~412.541, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />
