<br />-2- <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL FOR <br />THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The Village Council hereby deems it necessary and convenient <br />that the property described below be acquired by the Village of <br />Roseville for the Roseville Park, all of said property being <br />situated in the Village of Roseville, County of Ramsey and State <br />of Minnesota, to-wit: <br /> <br />Park Site l7HH <br /> <br />The South two-thirds (S2/3) of the West 5 acres <br />of the East half (El/2) of the Northeast ~uarter (NE l/4) <br />of the Northeast Quarter (NEl/4) of Section Eleven (II), <br />Township Twenty Nine (29), Rrolge Twenty-three (23). <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the estates to be acquired are fee <br />simple absolute. <br /> <br />That the Village Attorney be and he hereby is instructed to <br />insti tute the necessary proceedings in condemnation under the power <br />of eminent domain in the name and in behalf of the Village of Roseville, <br />Hinnesota, to acquire the property hereinbefore described under the <br />statutes of the State of r'linnesota, and the said Village Attorney is <br />further instructed and directed to take such steps as may be necessary <br />to carry said proceedings to a conclustion. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Member Curley, and upon a vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor of the resolution: <br /> <br />All present <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA) <br />) SS <br />COUNTY OF I~SEY ) <br /> <br />I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified clerk of the <br />Village of Roseville, Minnesota, do hereby certify that I have <br />carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes <br />of a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of <br />Roseville, Minnesota, held on the 6th day of April, 1964, with the <br />original on file in my office, and the same is a full, true and <br />complete transcript thereof insofar as the same relates to a <br />resolution regarding the taking of certain lands by the power of <br />eminent domain. <br /> <br />WITNESS my hand <br />Village of Roseville <br /> <br />as such Clerk and the corporate seal of the <br />this 7th day of APri1~ 2~ <br /> <br /> <br />' Clerk <br /> <br />SEAL <br />
