<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD DECEMBER 15, 1975 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regu- <br />lar meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in <br />said City on the 15th day of December, 1975, at 7:30 <br />o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />Mayor Linebarger, Cotmci1men Hess, Brennan, Curley and Demos <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Curley introduced the following <br />Resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6329 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY CON- <br />DEMNATION UNDER THE POWERS OF EMINENT DOMAIN CERTAIN <br />LAND IN FEE SIMPLE FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING AND <br />MAINTAINING A PARK FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, AND <br />DIRECTING THAT THE NECESSARY PROCEEDINGS BE INSTITUTED <br />FOR SUCH PURPOSE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of <br />Rosevi11e deems it necessary and expedient and in the <br />best interests of the City to acquire the following <br />described land for park purposes for said City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of <br />Rosevi11e has been advised by competent advisers and <br />committees that the following described real property <br />is desirable to acquire as a park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Rosevi11e has been unable <br />to negotiate for the purpose of purchasing said land; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, under the statutes of the State of <br />Minnesota the City has the power to take and acquire <br />such property by eminent domain; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />
