<br />The City Council hereby deems it necessary and <br />convenient that the property described below be acquired <br />by the City of Roseville in fee simple for park purposes, <br />all of said property being situated in the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey and State of Minnesota, to-wit: <br /> <br />All that part of the following described real <br />tract of property, to-wit: <br /> <br />Beginning at the Southeast corner of the <br />North 848.07 feet of the Northwest Quarter <br />(NW 1/4); thence West along the South line <br />of said North 848.07 feet for a distance of <br />1,000 feet; thence North 255 feet; thence <br />deflect to the right at an angle of 650 in <br />a Northeasterly direction approximately <br />685 feet to the point of intersection of <br />the centerline of Victoria Street; thence <br />Southerly thereon to beginning (subject <br />to roads and easements) in Section Eleven <br />(11), Township Twenty-Nine (29), Range <br />Twenty-three (23), Ramsey County. <br /> <br />which lies northerly and westerly of the following de- <br />scribed line: <br /> <br />Beginning at the southeast corner of the <br />North 848.07 feet of the Northwest Quarter <br />(NW 1/4) in Section 11, Township 29, Range <br />23, Ramsey County; thence west along the <br />south line of said North 848.07 feet a <br />distance of 590 feet; thence deflect to <br />the right 37 degrees; thence Northwesterly <br />on said deflection 496 feet; thence deflect <br />to the right 62 degrees; thence Northeasterly <br />on said 62 degree deflection 640 feet, more <br />or less, to the centerline of victoria Street; <br />thence southerly on said centerline to the <br />point of beginning and there terminating. <br /> <br />That the City Attorney be and he hereby is <br />instructed to commence the necessary proceedings in <br />condemnation under the power of eminent domain in the <br />name and in behalf of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, <br />to acquire the property set forth above under the statutes <br />of the State of Minnesota, and that said attorney is further <br />instructed and directed to take such steps as may be <br />necessary to carry said proceedings to a conclusion. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing <br />resolution was duly seconded by member Hess , and <br />upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor <br /> <br />-2- <br />
