Andre, city Manager, Robert
Bell, City Attorney; Charles Honchell, city Public works
Director; and Fred N. Peterson, Jr., of Peterson & Popovich,
city Bond Consultants.

MAYOR DEMOS: I'd like to call the meeting to order at
this time.

* * * * * *

The first hearing is a public improvement to consider
the improvement on county Road C from Cleveland to the west
county limits. would you read the legal notice.

MR. ANDRE: I have the affidavit of publication and
Certificate of Mailing on file.

MAYOR DEMOS: Would you care to give a summary of
financing and assessments, Mr. Peterson?

MR. FRED N. PETERSON, JR.: I assume everybody knows
what's going to be happening. This is roughly a concrete
curb and gutter and bituminous surfacing on "c" from
Cleveland going west. The total cost of the improvement is
$765,000 of which $53,790 will be paid by Roseville, and of
this $53,790, $24,690 is to be assessed to the property
owners abutting Cleveland, and the balance of $29,100 will
be paid from general taxes, so if you use the assessed front
footage on clevelar,d, it works out to be $2.73 per front
foot for concrete curb and gutter and the county is going to
pick up the cost for the surfacing. The assessments are
scheduled to run for 20 years at ~/o on the unpaid balance.
Any assessments can be paid within 30 days from the time of
the determination of the approval of the assessment roll.
This is the feasibility hearing so it doesn't start at the
present time and these are estimated figures of what it
would cost. If anybody wants to work out what your assess-
ment would be, just take your front footage and multiply by
$2.73 and you'd know what the total amount is, payable over
