BUCKLEY: Were the schools in on this decision? <br /> <br />MR. LEONARD: The Wilshire School I have met with. Other <br />schools - I'm not too aware of what involvement they may have <br />had. <br /> <br />MRS. BUCKLEY: I can see where the parks and (inaudible) <br />would handle that, but I can't imagine the school not getting in <br />touch with us. I drove a school bus on that road and you combine <br />school busses and freeway traffic (inaudible). I really think <br />it's a hazardous area and I would hope you could plug in with <br />the schools and reconsider or add something to this. <br /> <br />MR. LEONARD: We have every reason to believe that New <br />Brighton is leaning toward a five foot walk on the nort.h side <br />through there and we're encouraging this, but that's on their <br />side and they're going to have to pay for it so I don't want to <br />emphasize it. <br /> <br />MAYOR DEMOS: Any more questions? P-75-l7 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, that Ramsey County plans for County Road 0, Roseville <br />City Improvement No. P-75-l7, showing proposed alignment, pro- <br />files, grades and sections and right of way for the reconstruc- <br />tion of County Road D (County State Aid Highway 19) from <br />Cleveland Avenue (County State Aid Highway 46) to Highcrest <br />Road for a 52 foot wide roadway with concrete curb and gutter as <br />a state aid project are hereby conceptually approved. <br /> <br />6 <br />
