<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD ON DECEMBER 27, , 1976. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in <br />said City on the 27th day of December , 1976, at <br />7:30 o'clock P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos, <br />COlillcilmen Hess, Anderson, Curley and Grauel <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Curley introduced the following <br />resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6447 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING NORTH SUBURBAN CRI}ili PREVENTION AND <br />CRIMINAL APPREHENSION FUND <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Police Department has recom- <br />mended to the City Council that the City approve a program <br />designated as the North Suburban Area Crime Prevention and <br />Criminal Apprehension Fund; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that such <br />a program will be in the best interests of the citizens of <br />the City of Roseville in that it has proven to be an effective <br />means of fighting crime in other municipalities adopting <br />similar programs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the financing for such a program has been <br />guaranteed by the North Suburban Chamber of Commerce and <br />other civic organizations without any cost to the City of <br />Roseville. <br />
