<br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by t:he City Council <br />of the City of Roseville, Minnesota <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Rosevi11e <br />approves adoption of the North Suburban Area Crime Prevention <br />Fund, a proposed private non-profit corporation, funding, <br />among other things: <br /> <br />1. A code-A phone for the Rosevi1le Police <br />Department to be used for the receipt of <br />tips from confidential informants and <br />the issuance of code numbers t:o such <br />informants; <br /> <br />2. Dissemination of information received from <br />such informants to other law enforcement <br />agencies; and <br /> <br />3. Providing financial rewards to informants <br />for information leading to the arrest and <br />conviction of criminals. <br /> <br />The Motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution <br />was duly seconded by member Hess , and <br />upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor of the <br />resolution: <br /> <br />All present <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same. None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON,the said Resolution was declared duly <br />passed and adopted. <br />
