This proposal also authorizes the <br />municipalities to operate a paramedic ambulance service if they So desire. <br />The proposal also places the law authorizing a Joint City-County Purchas- <br />ing Department in the Code. <br /> <br />Bill #17. <br /> <br />This proposal which will have st<l,t:e-wide appUcation amends Minnesota <br />Statutes 1975 Supplement, Section 168.33 by adding language which provides <br />that ''bad checks" received by deputy motor vehicle registrars shall be <br />c~edited by the State of Minnesota and ~he issuing agency will not be <br />required to satisfy such accounts if a good faith effort to recover the <br />funds has been made. At the present time Ramsey County must make all <br />such checks good out of county funds. <br /> <br />Bill :{jl8~ <br /> <br />This state-wide proposal amends Minnesota Statutes 1974, Section 282.01 <br />\ ' by adding a provisioa which provides that if a municipality to classify <br />or re-classify tax forfeit lands within one year of certification of <br />forfeitm:e~ the Board of County Commissioners may classify this land. <br /> <br />Bill #19. <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Amends Minnesota Statutes 1974, Section 181.06 by adding the St. Paul- <br />Ramsey Arts and Science Council to the list identifying areas for which <br />payroll deductions may be authorized. This proposal would allow the <br />St. Paul-Ramsey Arts and Science Council to solicit donations from county <br />employees and offer the option of having the dOl~tion deducted from wages <br />on a regular basis. <br /> <br />Bill #20. <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Amends Minnesota Statutes 1975 Suppl~ent, Section 477A.Ol by reinstating <br />Ra~ey and Hennepin Counties in the Local Government Aid distribution <br />formula. <br />
