Curley, and Grauel, and the following <br />were absent: None. <br /> <br />Also present were Hr. James Andre, City lVlanager~ Hobert Bell. <br />City Attorney; Charles Honchell, City Public tr>Jorks Director; and <br />~eter s. popovich, City Bond Consultant. <br /> <br />IvJAYOR DEt10S: At this time we \'\1i11 open the hearing on <br />Improvement SS-tv-P-76- 22, ~~hryer Aven~le. <br /> <br />MR. ANDRE: I have the affidavit of publication of the <br />Notice of Hearing and the Certificate of i:12;iling the Notices. <br /> <br />l\1fR. HONCHELL: Once a ga in we hi] ve CO pro j e (; t tha t 's a <br />result of a petition. This project ~..yas petitioned for at the time <br />of a re-platting process on the southern half of Shryer between <br />Lexington and Oxford. At that time the petition was received, the <br />feasibility study was ordered, and this was prepared for the <br />Council. and this hearing is a resuJ.t. The e:;cisting situation is <br />thct we have a sort of 2 half roadway on the northern half of the <br />street - a temporary roadway. It may not be temporary to you, but <br />this is the common vernacular for that kind of pavement. It <br />exists almost entirely on the northern half of the right-of-way. <br />and is close to the existing five homes that are on the north side <br />of the roado <br /> <br />The p~opo3al would call for the construction of concrete curb <br />and gutter on both sides, a seven ton, 32 foot roadway - not where <br />the existing pavement is - but in the center of the roadway and <br />some of that area that I s nO~"J blacktopped would be re-sodded and <br />the driveways would be extended or res loped as necessary so that <br />tht=! area would be put back into what would be called the normal <br />situation of a roadway situated on the right-of-'",ayo <br /> <br />As part of this project, there's a proposal to build the <br />sewer and water services from the existing faci1ibes which 2Jre <br />
