MR. REILING: I don't see the need. I don't proclaim
to know everything that's back of Ch?rlie here, but I see no
reason for that pond to be built as shown. I do see a reason
to hvve the storm sewer. I think that has to be done because
it's done allover the village. I'd be glad to get along
without the storm sewer.

MAYOR DEMOS: We do have water going down there now.

MR. REILING: And it's well provided for. It comes through
end there's an easement for the water running into the lake.
I'm sure that general (inaudible) can be followed without building
a pond. Charlie may have some reasons. I know there are
problems with DNR and Rice Creek so I can't criticize him all
the way, but unless I'm enlightened I see no reason for that pond.

COUNCILMAN GRAUEL: What segment of that storm sewer line
are you saying there is no need for? That proposed area on the
top between Lots 23 and 24 there is an outlet from Avon down to
the pond to the east and ~lso there is from the pond as it runs
south down Millwood to Brenner - that appears to be - that's
north bound, isn't it Charlie.

MR. HONCHELL: Yes.

COUNCILMAN GRAUEL~ All of that goes to the pond again.

MR. REILING: Without the (inaudible) the water goes
to the east into the low area - into the (inaudible) park.
That water drains into there and comes down about where the
pond is and through that cul-de-sac piece along in through there
and comes out at Lake Owasso, I think, at two locations. But
the main one has a 10 foot easement and the water comes
through there and no reason why that same thing couldn't be
followed.

COUNCILMAN GRAUEL: You will have to picture that when
there are houses built there.

MR. REILING: There will be more water.

COUNCILMAN GRAUEL: And I think the thing is to provide a
drainage basin.

-l4-
