<br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RICE CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT <br /> <br />BEFORE THE BOARD OF MANAGERS <br /> <br />- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - <br /> <br />In the Matter of the Peti tion of the <br />City of Roseville for Certain <br />Improvements in the Rice Creek <br />Watershed District <br /> <br />PET I T ION <br /> <br />TO THE BOARD OF MANAGERS OF THE RICE CREEK ~lATERSHED DISTRICT: <br />Your petitioner, the City of Roseville, Minnesota, lying <br />partly within the boundaries of the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District and lying wholly and partly within the areas herein- <br />after proposed to be improved, makes this petition to the <br />Board of Managers of the Rice Creek Watershed District <br />pursuant to MSA Section 112.48, and states: <br />1. That it hereby petitions the managers of the Rice <br />Creek Watershed District, for the purposes hereafter des- <br />cribed, to perform the following improvements: <br />A. Project No.1. Construction of a large inter- <br />ception pipe from the Hamline Ave.jJosephineRd. area to <br />Little Lake Josephine, east of Lexington Ave. near <br />Josephine Rd.: construction of a controlled outlet at <br />Little Lake Josephine for proper utilization as a <br />sedimentation pond. <br />B. Project No.2. Construction of erosion <br />correction improvements along County Ditch No. 4 from <br />Oasis pond to Little Lake Johanna. <br />C. Project No.3. Acquisition of additional <br />ponding area and enlargement of existing ponding area <br />
