C. project No.3. The existing ponding area at
the southwest corner of Snelling Avenue and County Road C
is inadequate to handle the water flow generated at times
of heavy rains. This causes flooding on adjacent private
property at such times. By enlarging and deepening the
ponding area this problem will be eliminated.
D. Project No.4. The pond located at the southeast
corner of Fairview and County Road C has a prevailing
ground elevation that is higher than the invert of the
78" outlet pipe under County Road C. The runoff from
the highly developed area to the south of the pond reaches
the pond quite soon at the time of rainfalls and this
proposed improvement will delay the flow and therefore
relieve flooding conditions downstream.
E. Project No.5. County Ditch No.4 between
Fairview Avenue and County Raod C to Oasis pond has very
steep banks and siltation has impeded water flows. This
improvement will reconstruct County Ditch No. 4 so that
it will be capable of handling water flows.
5.
