RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR A PORTION OF IMPROVEMENT NO. ss-W-P-74-17 BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville that the proposed assessment roll for a portion of Improvement No. Ss-W-P-74-17 now on file and open to public inspection in the office of the City Manager, is approved, and the Manager is directed to publish and mail notice that the Council will meet to consider the proposed assessment on August 15, 1977, at the City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, in the City of Roseville, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The notice shall state the date, time and place of the meeting, the general nature of said improvement, the area proposed to be assessed, the total cost of the improvement, that the proposed assessment roll is on file with the Manager, and that written or oral objections thereto by any property owner will be considered. It shall be published once in the official newspaper of the City at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall be mailed to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll, not less than two weeks prior to the date of said meeting. For the purpose of such mailed notice, owners of said parcels shall be those shown as such on the records of the County Treasurer. Every property owner whose name does not appear on such records (other than owners of property which is tax exempt or is taxed on a gross earnings basis) shall be deemed to have waived such mailed notice unless he has requested in writing that the County Treasurer include his name on the re- cords for this purpose. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman ~an and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present and the following voted against the same: NOne whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
