Extract of Hinutes of Heeting of City Council of City of Roseville Ramsey County, r~innesota Held: August 8, 1977 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Roseville met in regular session at the City Hall on Monday, the 8th day of August, 1977, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Hayor Demos and Councilmen Hess, Curley, Grauel and Anderson; and the following were absent: None. Councilman Hess introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Resolution No. 6536 RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEI1ENT NO. UL-77-9 BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville as follows: 1. By resolution adopted May 9, 1977, the Council has directed the City Public Works Director to prepare a preliminary report as to the feasibility of a proposed improvement on Shorewood Lane from vfueeler Street to Lydia Avenue, and Shore- wood Curve from Wheeler Street to Shorewood Lane, by the installation of ornamental street lights. The Public Works Director was also directed to include in the report the esti- mated cost of the proposed improvement and as to whether such improvement should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement. The preliminary report and cost estimate have been submitted and considered by the Council and are hereby approved and directed to be placed on file in the office of the City Manager. The improvement proposed to be made in the general manner set forth in the report is designated as Improvement No. UL-77-9. 2. The Council shall meet at the City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, in said City, on September 12, 1977, at 7:30 o'c1ock p.m. for the purpose of hOlding a public hearing on the proposed improvement under and pursuant to the provisions of Hinnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and the Manager is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of that meeting to be published twice in the official newspaper, Rosevil1e Sun, which publications shall be a week apart, and the second publication shall be not less than three days before the date of the hearing. 3.
