COUNCILMAN GRAUEL: I made the motion on Ryan. But as far
as Oxford is concerned, I think this is probably an opportunity
to straighten that street out and get the additional right-of-
way and put in the improvements, and I would be in favor of
that at least going from Ryan north up to Shryer.

MR. MOONEY: I want to state that when we were requested
whether or not we'd like that through there at the time it was
considered, Mr. Burger at that time would not give up his side
of that street. We were only too glad to have it through
there and it couldn't be done because we're an odd situation.
Had Mr. Burger cooperated as he should have, it seems to me
that this would have been straightened out long ago and the
street would now be without the lump in there. I don't want
it understood at all in any way that I have ever had any ob-
jection to donating my property.

MAYOR DEMOS: I know that.

COUNCILMAN GRAUEL: Are you going to donate that property?

MR. MOONEY: Of course.

COUNCILMAN HESS: On that right-of-way you would be dona-
ting that?

MR. MOONEY: I offered that years ago when the street was
put through. I thought it was a shame that Mr. Burger would
not give up that property.

COUNCILMAN GRAUEL: He's given up quite a bit since.

Councilman Hess then introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:

Resolution No. (PS J!

RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF
IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-P-77-24 UNDER AND
PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429
