and right now my lawn is the same level as the street and
people aren't always sure which is which.

MR. HONCHELL: The reason for not doing that is we did
not want to get into the next roadway until the final eleva-
tion of that intersection met your elevations on your readway.
We have not done a design on Chatsworth, and we don't want to
lower that intersection and go back a hundred and 50 feet each
way making sure it comes together because that's quite an ex-
pense, and I agree you may get some benefit, but your neigh-
bors may not want to pay for that.

MR. EUGENE CONNORS, 1003 Ryan Avenue: I would like to
pose a couple of questions. The first one being, there is
that pile of dirt there that has to be removed to bring the
edge of the lot down to the street level. The estimated
cost that I figure that you have shown is $3200. When Ed
Bossard built the area he had to do the east side of Oxford
and get that up to the temporary level. I feel that whoever
owns that lot should have to incur that $3200 expense of
getting that down to street level.

MR. HONCHErJ,: J,et me l.ook hack to tho CipPl:opriate al-
ternative here and see if I can give you some information.
The entire excavation is only $2900.

MR. CONNORS: It says $2400 on the paper I looked at,
and removing trees was $800, so I came up with $3200.

MR. HONCHELL: Some of the trees - part of that is in the -
maybe I better go up here -

MR. CONNORS: Some of it is on the next lot which belongs
to Mr. Mooney.

MR. HONCHELL: You recall the roadway is widened out
here, and this pile of dirt is going to have to be moved by
the property owner. We are not proposing to do that and
assign it as an assessment. This portion of dirt that still
comes along in this area, if we would put the road into the
center, we would then be into the pile of dirt. That - a
portion of moving some of that dirt is into the estimate
