<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD February 13 1978. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, <br />was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the <br />13th day of Februarv ,1978, at 7:~__o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Acting Mayor CUrley, <br />Councilnen Kehr, Anderson and Franke <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: Mayor ~ <br /> <br />Member Anderson introduced the following <br />resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6609 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 6472 adopted March 28, 1977, <br />the City Council has implemented a special assessment policy <br />pertaining to special assessments of properties benefitting <br />from the improvement of roadways coming under the jurisdiction <br />of the City, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that it is in the <br />best interests of the City to amend said special assessment <br />policy as it pertains to residential properties abutting <br />Minnesota State Aid (M.S.A.) roadways and roadways coming <br />under the jurisdiction of Ramsey County. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Paragraph 2(h) of Resolution 6472, dated March 28, <br />1977, is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"(h) R-l and R-2 property that is not tax exempt <br />which abuts Minnesota State Aid city roadways <br />shall not be specially assessed for the up- <br />grading of such roadways. All properties <br />abutting Minnesota State Aid city roadways <br />other than non-tax-exempt R-l and R-2 properties <br />shall be assessed pursuant to the other provi- <br />sions of this paragraph 2." <br />
