EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD February 13 1978. * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 13th day of Februarv ,1978, at 7:~__o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Acting Mayor CUrley, Councilnen Kehr, Anderson and Franke and the following members were absent: Mayor ~ Member Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 6609 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 6472 adopted March 28, 1977, the City Council has implemented a special assessment policy pertaining to special assessments of properties benefitting from the improvement of roadways coming under the jurisdiction of the City, and WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that it is in the best interests of the City to amend said special assessment policy as it pertains to residential properties abutting Minnesota State Aid (M.S.A.) roadways and roadways coming under the jurisdiction of Ramsey County. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: 1. Paragraph 2(h) of Resolution 6472, dated March 28, 1977, is amended to read as follows: "(h) R-l and R-2 property that is not tax exempt which abuts Minnesota State Aid city roadways shall not be specially assessed for the up- grading of such roadways. All properties abutting Minnesota State Aid city roadways other than non-tax-exempt R-l and R-2 properties shall be assessed pursuant to the other provi- sions of this paragraph 2."
