MAYOR DE~10S: Next time, take them over and show them
what can be done first.

MR. KATH: He probably designed them. (Inaudible) he come
up with the kind of bucks he should have coughed up, but he
didn't want to get involved because some place along the line
the story has spread that I got all tangled up with DNR.

MAYOR DEMOS: You're not alone today with that.

COUNCILMAN FRANKE: Maybe somebody else will some along
that's a little more active and say, I'll take these lots,
and when Sam gets his development in it will make a big dif-
ference.

~~R. KATH: I don't think I have any other property that
I'm going to be back up here for a while.

COUNCILMAN CURLEY: Nhat are you aSking for?

MR. RATH: I'm aSking for consideration of the four lots
along this (inaudible) Transit Street I could care less
(inaudible) realistically adjacent to my piece of property
because it doesn't do me any good, but still I got to live
with it and I accept this, but on these four lots, if they can
be brought up to a salable lot, then fine, but if not, I
think (inaudible).

COUNCILMAN FRANKE: If they can't be a salable lot, the
assessment policy would be different. You wouldn't be assessed
on that basis.

MR. ANDRE: At the time of the assessment hearing the
Council would make a determination as to the degree of benefit.

COUNCILMAN KEHR: A nice street automatically will make
these lots salable.

MR. KATH: I'm still trying to (inaudible) out the assess-
ments on Sandy Hook.

COUNCILMAN CURLEY: I, for one, when we look at those
lots in the fall of 1979, if we don't think they're full value,
I think you'll be relieved of some of the assessments because
we have done that in the past.

MAYOR DEMOS: I think you're going to find the full value.

COUNCILMAN FRANKE: I'm going to find a developer.

MAYOR DEMOS: Anyone else that wishes to be heard on this
matter? Anyone else that wishes to be heard?

13
