The adver- <br />tisement shall be published as required by law, shall <br />specify the work to be done, shall call for bids on the <br />basis of a cash payment for such work, shall state that the <br />bids will be received by the City Manager and Public Works <br />Director untiL 10:0~CDST o'clock _.m. on May 9, , <br />1978, at which time they will be publicly opened in the City <br />Hall by the City Uanager and City Public Works Director, <br />will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the Coun- <br />cil at 7: 30 0' clock .E... .m. on May 22 , 1978 in <br />the Council Chambers andlthat no bids will be considered un- <br />less sealed and filed with the Manager and accompanied by a <br />cash deposit, certified check or bid bond payable to the <br />Manager for tert percent of the amount of such bid. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br /> <br />was duly seconded by Councilman Kehr and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the fOllowing voted in favor: All; and the <br />following voted against: None; whereupon said resolution <br /> <br />was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
