Taking the most expensive, the <br />total cost is $222,333. It's toward the rear part of your <br />feasibility report. <br /> <br />On the sanitary sewer portion we propose that lOO% be <br />assessed and that will raise $29,44B.l3 at $13.58 assessable <br />per front foot. The sanitary sewer services, of which there <br />would be 37, would be 100% assessed at $246 per service. <br /> <br />On the ~7atermains, the total cost would he 100% assessed <br />at approximately $43,000. Assessable frontage is $15.70. The <br />water services would also he lOO% assessee, and those service <br />lines would be $303 each. <br /> <br />On street, curb and gutter, excluding County Road C-2, <br />there are two alternates - Phase land 2, and those woulrt be <br />100% assessed. For Phase 1 the assessment would be $26.40 a <br />front foot. On Phase 2 it would be $4l.5l a front foot. <br />Alternate 2 on street, curb an0 gutter, excluding County Road <br />C-2, costs $10l,OOO. There the assessment per foot ,Qou1Ct be <br />$38.57 if you went that approach. <br /> <br />County Road C-2, if you go for the 7-ton alternate, the <br />total cost is $lOl,075. A portion wouln be assessed on a front <br />foot basis and a portion would be on general taxes. The <br />assessment on the north half tlou1d be $23.97 a front foot, <br />and on tl1e south half it would be $10.94, an0 about $8,600 <br />would he picked up on general taxes. <br /> <br />If you go for Alternate B, which is the 9-ton r1SA - <br />because of the contribution the cost is $24,000 so far as the <br />assessments are concerned, but the assessment per front foot <br />on the north half is $32.82 a front foot, and there would be <br />no assessment on the south half, or deve lor,>ed side of tl1e <br />street, but the general taxes Nou1d be $12,37l of that alter- <br />nate. So the Council's decision, depending on the input from <br />ti1e public, is ,,,hich alternate route do you ",ant to go and <br />the costs will vary according to those alternates. <br />
