For the sanitary sewer portion the cost is $4,876. Divide
that by the 660 feet involved comes to $7.39 a front foot. All
of that would be assessed unless there was any previous sani-
tary sewer assessment. If so, they would receive credit for
that, and the difference would be picked up by the city on
general taxes.

On sanitary sewer services the total cost is $207 or $345
and that would be assessed against the property owners at $104
or $l73 apiece; depending on what size sanitary service went
into the property.

On the traffic signals, the Roseville share is $50,984
out of the total of $121,900. ~e pro~ose, because of the
general benefit, that none of that be assessed against the
property, but would be picked up by general taxes. So you have
to take all of these various subdivisions I have given you to
arrive at the total cost of $175,034 that is the city's share.
Hennepin County is $343,682, Ramsey County $1,282,077 for a
total cost of $1,800,793 which could vary between now and when
we let the contracts next spring, so these costs are estimates
and that should be borne in mind.

~fuatever you do, itis recommended it be assessed over 20
years witn one-twentieth principal paid each year, with 8% of.
the assessment as carrying charges with the right of prepayment
at any time.

MR. ANDRE: There are no statements.

~~YOR DEMOS~ At this time I will open the hearing to the
public and ask each speaker to come to the microphone and
identify him or herself, and give your address.

I,m. NARVIN HANSEN, 2597 North Cleveland~ This project I
hear about from Long Lake Road to Highway 8 - I understand that
this project south of County Road C on Cleveland is supposed to
be tied in at the same time, is that right?

NR. HONCHELL: That is correct.

Jl1R. HANSEN: How many improvements do we have to have on
Cleveland south of County Road C? As I understand - that
there's supposed to be a four lane for about 350 feet south.

HR. HONCHELL~ That's approximately correct. The county
engineer perhaps can speak a little more to the details of
what they propose to do with that location.

MR. LEONARQ: ~lliat I wanted to show you is - this is
County Road C and this is Cleveland going south. This is the
railroad track and this is the frontage road under the bridges.
