<br />7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />IMPROVEMENT NO. P-78-l5 UNDER AND <br />PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 <br />AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota <br />Statutes, 1961, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a <br />public hearing on the proposed construction of Improvement No. <br />P-78-lS including all that property generally in the area of High- <br />crest from County Road D to County Road C-2 by the installation <br />of concrete curb and gutter, bituminous surfacing, drainage, and <br />necessary appurtenances, which improvement is to be completed in <br />conjunction with the City of St. Anthony, as desribed in the <br />Notice of Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $267,000.51, <br />of which Roseville's share will be approximately $137,388.61, and <br />substantially in accordance with the preliminary report as to the <br />feasibility thereof which is now on file in the office of the city <br />Manager; and having considered the views of all interested persons <br />and being fully advised in the premises, the Council does hereby <br />determine and order that said improvement shall be constructed <br />and financed, with parking to be limited to one side of the <br />street, and appearing to favor the west side of Highcrest for that <br />purpose. Special assessments shall be levied therefor, pursuant <br />to said Chapter 429, and the area proposed to be assessed therefor <br />shall include the property as described in the Notice of Hearing. <br />Short, Elliott, Hendrickson, Inc., the city consulting engineers, <br />are hereby directed to prepare and submit to the Council the <br />final plans and specifications. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Councilman Kehr, and upon roll call vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All; and the <br />following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution <br />was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
