Councilman Anderson then introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Resolution No. 68lS RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-P-ST-SW-79-4 UNDER AND PURS UANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 1961, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a public hearing on the proposed construction of Improvement No. SS-W-P-ST-SW-79-4 , including all that property abutting Snelling frontage road on the east side of Snelling Avenue from Lydia Avenue South to a point 1200 feet north of County Road C, also known as parcel numbers 79-00300-040-55 and 79-00300-060-55, Rosette Addition, Blocks I and 2; Roseville Terrace Plat 1, Lots 13 through 23, Block I; and also two lots known as Roseville Terrace Plat I, Lots 3 and 4, Block 2, in conjunction with the State of Minnesota, by the installation of sanitary sewer service, water service, concrete curb and gutter, bituminous paving, storm sewer, side- walk and necessary appurtenances, as described in the Notice of Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $420,600, of which Roseville's share will be $83,160.00, and substantially in accordance with the preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof which is now on file in the office of the City Manager; and having considered the views of all interested persons and being fully advised in the premises, the Council does hereby determine and order that said improvement shall be constructed and financed, and special assessments shall be levied therefor, pursuant to said Chapter 429, and. that the area proposed to be assessed therefor shall include the property as described in the Notice of Hearing. The City Public Works Director is directed to prepare and submit to the Council the final plans and specifications.
