<br />Community Development Department <br />2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Mn, 55113 <br />651-792-7071fax: 651-792-7070 <br />  <br />December 14, 2005 <br /> <br />Mr. Lance Lanerz <br />927 Parker <br />Roseville Mn. 55113 <br /> <br />RE: Setback Permit for Porch PF3701 <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Lanerz: <br /> <br />th <br />After an administrative hearing held on December 13, the City of Roseville <br />Development Review Committee (DRC) recommended approval of your request for an 8 <br />foot setback permit to allow your new porch to be setback a minimum distance of 32 feet <br />from the front yard property line, in an area where the front setback is normally 40 feet. <br /> <br />I have reviewed the file and concur with the DRC findings that at least 8 of 12 criteria <br />required for issuance of a setback permit are present in your case. In addition no <br />conditions were attached but recommendation to you were to consider using roof gutters <br />and downspouts to direct water to your front yard should you not be able to create <br />positive drainage away fro the existing and new structure. <br /> <br />Since the neighbors have supported your proposal, both in person and verbally, there is <br />no permit appeal process.
