Roseville Human Rights Commission <br />Meeting Minutes December 11, 2007 <br />Page 5 of 5 <br />Discussion included the HRC's focus and monthly foci of Human Rights- related recognitions to <br />acknowledge and make citizens aware similar to those done by the City of Bloomington; and the <br />possibility for newspapers to allow the HRC to focus on such recognitions as a public service <br />and if there would be a charge. <br />City Manager Malinen offered to speak to the publisher to see if there was interest in such a <br />public service opportunity. <br />Other <br />Further discussion included the 2008 joint City Council/HRC meeting; 2008 HRC Agenda items; <br />2008 budget and Chair Delmore's interest in keeping updated on the budget through Finance <br />Director Chris Miller; and staff contacts for the HRC Commissioners to use on projects in <br />progress. <br />Adjournment <br />Commissioner McGehee moved and Commissioner Venters seconded adjournment of the <br />meeting at 8:20 p.m. Motion carried 7/0/0. <br />
