Roseville Human Ri ghts Commission <br />Meeting Minutes – January 13, 2009 <br />Page 4 of 4 <br /> <br />Essay Contest/Reception <br />Member Crump moved, seconded by Member Mc Gehee, after friendly amendment by Member <br />Delmore removing any spending cap due to th e number of unknowns on how many will be <br />attending the reception; to request staff to pr ovide beverages for contest winners, parents and <br />teachers at the reception following the Februa ry 23 City Council meeting essay reading. <br /> <br />After further discussion, Chair Singleton offered to introduce essay contest winners and <br />recognize their teachers, and present monetary and/or gift certificate awards at the meeting. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br />Vice Chair Oftelie adjourned the meeting at 8:17 p.m.
