REQUEST FOR HRA ACTION Date: 3-16-10 Item No: 9.b. Staff Approval: Agenda Section: PT Action Items Item Description: Review of Imagine Roseville 2025 Action Steps Background 1.0 The City Council has asked all City Commissions to review and rank the action steps generated from the Imagine Roseville 2025 Visioning Process to assist the Council in setting priorities for the 2011 City Budget. At their February 13, 2010 Special Meeting, the City Council began their discussion on the 2011 City Budget. As part of that process, the City Council will be using the Imagine Roseville 2025 document to help them set priorities to be considered in the City’s budget. As part of this process, the City Council asked that each City Commission review the document as it pertains to their work. For your review, staff has provided detailed spreadsheets showing the action steps related to HRA activities that were identified by previous brainstorming in 2007. Staff has also included other action steps that are related to development and planning for your consideration. While the HRA is not typically involved in these items, your input on these matters would be beneficial to the City Council. Staff has separated the action steps into four categories to indicate their current status. They are: Not Yet-Action steps that have not initiated. Done– Action step has been completed. On Going -Action step has been implemented and integrated into normal operations. In Process – Action steps have been initiated but work has not been completed. Each identified action step has been given a time frame; Short (1-3 years), Medium (4-8 years), and Long (9+ years).
