<br />to said fund the sum of $100,000.00. The Manager is further <br />directed to establish said fund and to manage said fund <br />so as to receive the maximum return to the City of Rose- <br />ville consistent with law and under this resolution. <br /> <br />3. Payments to be made from said fund are <br />restricted to the following: <br /> <br />(a) Obligations of the City of Roseville arising <br />under Minn. Stat. Chapter 176 (Workmen's <br />Compensation) . <br /> <br />(b) Expenses incurred in the investigating <br />of such claims or the legal expenses in- <br />curred in the processing of said claims. <br /> <br />(c) Expenses for excess insurance for exposure <br />in excess of $300,000.00 for one occurrence. <br /> <br />(d) Expenses of dues or other costs in joining <br />a worker's compensation reinsurance associa- <br />tion established by law or any association <br />of municipalities. <br /> <br />4. The Manager is further directed to apply <br />for membership on behalf of the City of Roseville, in <br />a worker's compensation reinsurance association established <br />pursuant to Minn. Stat.~~79.34, et seq. <br /> <br />5. In the event the City of Roseville is re- <br />fused membership in a worker's compensation reinsurance <br />association, the Manager is directed to purchase insurance <br />for liability incurred by the City of Roseville in excess <br />of $100,000.00 for one occurrence. <br /> <br />6. The Manager is further directed and authorized <br />to employ the services of an adjusting firm to assist, if <br />he deems necessary, in the investigation and adjustment of <br />workmen's compensation claims. <br /> <br />7. In the event the City of Roseville is re- <br />fused membership in the worker's compensation reinsurance <br />association established pursuant to Minn. Stat.~~79.34, et <br />seq., the manager is instructed to contact the local members <br />of the legislature and instruct them to amend the laws to <br />facilitate the City of Roseville's membership in such an <br />association. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing <br />resolution was duly seconded by member Kpnr <br /> <br />-2- <br />
