The Manager is further directed to establish said fund and to manage said fund so as to receive the maximum return to the City of Rose- ville consistent with law and under this resolution. 3. Payments to be made from said fund are restricted to the following: (a) Obligations of the City of Roseville arising under Minn. Stat. Chapter 176 (Workmen's Compensation) . (b) Expenses incurred in the investigating of such claims or the legal expenses in- curred in the processing of said claims. (c) Expenses for excess insurance for exposure in excess of $300,000.00 for one occurrence. (d) Expenses of dues or other costs in joining a worker's compensation reinsurance associa- tion established by law or any association of municipalities. 4. The Manager is further directed to apply for membership on behalf of the City of Roseville, in a worker's compensation reinsurance association established pursuant to Minn. Stat.~~79.34, et seq. 5. In the event the City of Roseville is re- fused membership in a worker's compensation reinsurance association, the Manager is directed to purchase insurance for liability incurred by the City of Roseville in excess of $100,000.00 for one occurrence. 6. The Manager is further directed and authorized to employ the services of an adjusting firm to assist, if he deems necessary, in the investigation and adjustment of workmen's compensation claims. 7. In the event the City of Roseville is re- fused membership in the worker's compensation reinsurance association established pursuant to Minn. Stat.~~79.34, et seq., the manager is instructed to contact the local members of the legislature and instruct them to amend the laws to facilitate the City of Roseville's membership in such an association.
